SRK are proud to share our ‘Design of the Year’ award win at the 2024 NASC Scaffolding Excellence Awards. The event, held in Belfast on Friday 29th November, was hosted by celebrities Denise van Outen, James Nesbitt and Mike Tindall.

SRK’s design stood above the 3 other scaffold design finalists with our “innovative approach [which] has significantly advanced scaffolding design”. With over 200 UK scaffolding companies represented at this year’s event, SRK were delighted to have been announced as the overall winners in this category.

The design was for a Haki Circular Scaffold providing access to and encapsulation of a 33m x 27m industrial storage tank. Works were requested by the client to enable the tank roof to be reinsulated. Steel wire rope tension hoops were incorporated to restrain the structure of the scaffold which not only showed innovation and shortened the timeline of works by 3 months but also provided vital cost savings to the client.

This was a real SRK Scaffolding & Industrial Services team effort between our extremely hardworking designer, on-site team and all the scaffold operatives involved.

SRK Scaffolding and Industrial Services Ltd recently achieved two significant certifications – FORS Bronze and Cyber Essentials. The FORS Bronze accreditation is a prestigious certification that recognizes best practices in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection in fleet operations. This achievement highlights SRK Scaffolding and Industrial Services Ltd’s commitment to maintaining high standards in their operations.

In addition, SRK Scaffolding and Industrial Services Ltd has also secured the Cyber Essentials certification, which is a UK government information assurance scheme that certifies that the company has taken essential precautions against cyber threats.

These certifications highlight SRK Scaffolding and Industrial Services Ltd’s dedication to operational excellence and their proactive approach to safety and security.

We’re pleased to announce the opening of our newly refurbished office and yard in Cwmbran, Wales. The new space is designed to help us coordinate and manage our operations more efficiently.

The new location will enable us to serve our clients in and around Wales more effectively, and we look forward to welcoming them to our new premises.

• Runcorn: At Runcorn, our scaffolding structures are playing a crucial role in the maintenance and renovation works. Our team is working closely with site managers to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Fawley Oil Refinery: Our work at Fawley Oil Refinery involves unique challenges due to the operational nature of the site. However, our team’s expertise and commitment to safety are ensuring the successful execution of scaffolding works.
• Sizewell: We’re excited to announce the start of our new project at Sizewell. Our team is geared up to deliver top-notch scaffolding services that cater to the specific requirements of this site.
